We're hiring! Mid-weight Retail Designer

Calling All Experienced Designers.
Are you an experienced mid-weight designer with a knack for construction and a passion for bringing innovative retail spaces to life? Sandbox, a leading retail design studio in Hampton, Melbourne, is looking for you.

We're seeking a talented individual with a deep understanding of construction materials, tools, and techniques, coupled with a genuine passion for technical drawing and CAD drafting. If you thrive on the practical application of design and possess an in-depth understanding of how things are built, you'll fit right in.

The Role:
This is a unique opportunity for a designer who blends technical precision with creative flair.

As a Designer at Sandbox, you'll:

  • Develop and present design concepts that marry aesthetic innovation with practical functionality.

  • Masterfully use Revit, SketchUp, and AutoCAD to produce detailed 2D and 3D models that adhere to industry standards and building codes.

  • Collaborate closely with clients to create comprehensive design documentation packages for exciting retail, commercial, and hospitality projects.

  • Stay at the forefront of retail design trends, ensuring fresh, forward-thinking ideas are integrated into every project.

  • Work hand-in-hand with clients and contractors, guaranteeing design intent is flawlessly executed.
